Avian species composition profile and feeding guilds under the aerobic rice field. In Malaysia, productionsystem is an alternative approach to growing in a water-scarce environment. Like irrigated rice, also cansustain diversity of avian fauna. The current status birds fields Malaysia especially ricecondition has not been widely researched. Therefore, this study aims document richness, guildsof bird cultivation area. Birds were sampled recorded using four randomly set up mist net at anupscaling plot Serdang, Selangor during period one month starting from milky stage plant (75days after emergence) until two weeks harvest. 139 representing 11 belonging 7 families recordedin plot. most abundant family observed was Estrildidae (80.58%), followed by Hirundinidae (6.47%),and Meropidae Motacillidae (both 5.04%). Scaly-breasted munia (50.36%) white-headed (28.06%) arethe birds, while other types such as chestnut white-rumped are present smallnumbers. Munias number (36.36%) therefore can be considered main avianpest rice. indices, Shannon-Wiener Index 1.43 Reciprocal Simpson 2.93.The richness index (The Margalef Index) 2.03. Equitability 0.59. term guild, speciesbelong insectivore (45.45%) granivore rest piscivore/insectivore granivore/insectivore.However, highest individuals (112 or 80.58%) compared guilds.
